The Arrival Portal creates a gateway to the first stage of this project. Is signifies the entry to the precinct, orientates the visitor, frames views to the established protected landscape and wetlands, offers interpretive content and an orientation garden. Visitors are provided shelter and respite before they begin their exploration of the precinct. Materials are robust and durable, reflecting the previous industries present on site and in recognition of providing a low maintenance asset for the client.
