PEOPLE
Quite possibly the most homely, cosy, friendly vet practice we have seen! The House Call Vet started their mobile clinic in pet owners homes, and so the design for their newest practice is inspired by the homes in the surrounding suburb. Our design partners Fulton Trotter Architects have made use of every single inch of this tricky floor plate to ensure The House Call Vet have as much room as possible to cater for their fast growing business. Complete with Xray, dental, operating theatre + clean room, critical care, kennels, consultation rooms, pharmacy and stunning reception, this is definitely the place that will make your pet feel at home.

Located in Brisbane’s west, The House Call Vet fit-out takes advantage of its bush outlook by locating the main work areas near the large windows that were part of the existing tenancy. Fulton Trotter Architects worked through multiple test fits and planning options with Belnic and the client to accommodate the required specialist spaces in a tight and irregular shaped tenancy.
The design concept took cues from the company’s house call model by bringing the ‘home’ to the clinic. From the front of house and throughout the fit-out, the finishes palette employs residential colours, textures and patterns, particularly reminiscent of the mid-century houses in the area.
