Fulton Trotter Architects Sydney Office Fit Out
New FTA Sydney office fit out

The process of designing Fulton Trotter’s own office required self-reflection and thorough consultation to establish a brief that met the diverse needs and differing priorities its staff.
The Fulton Trotter Sydney office is centrally located in the inner-city suburb of Surry Hills with close proximity to public transport hubs and other design communities.
Collaborative workshops with Sydney staff members were led by a Brisbane director where the principles of flexibility, biophilic design, and democracy were identified as the key elements of a happy, fluid, and efficient work environment. The planning ensured that no space belonged to a person or group and the views, daylight and moments of joy were shared by all.
The mixed mode meeting and break-out spaces are located in ‘The Forest’ along the wall of glazing. The board room, called the ‘Long Table’, is an openable extension of this space, allowing it to remain in high use as work space when there are no meetings. The ‘Shhh Room’ is an acoustically separate space for small and online meetings, and divides the work area from back of house kitchen and workshop.
