Fulton Trotter Architects provided spatial planning and design consultation to the lead contractor Belnic Constructions to fulfil the clients brief for a functional fit-out that aligns the values and aesthetic of their vision and identity.
PEOPLE
Panorama Radiology Specialists is a new practice located in the central Gold Coast suburb of Bundall. Within an existing building previously used as an ice-skating rink and big box retailer, the fit-out accommodates CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and EOS equipment and services as well as administration, reporting, boardroom and training spaces. A planning strategy for a future PET scanning fitout and five specialist consultancies formed part of the brief for the project.
The concept of public and private spaces was explored while working through multiple test fit options with the builder and client. The design process was underpinned by a focus on providing clients with a premium experience and personalised service. The front of house zone, including the reception, boardroom, and kitchen, were designed to be used by external parties out of hours. Space planning considered ease of equipment installation, accessibility and replacement over the life of the tenancy.
