Our first fundamentals course GAP FILLER 24 is aimed at addressing the steep learning curve in the years between graduation and registration. To literally fill the gap on almost everything you wanted to know about how buildings work, how it all fits together and how designers make detail decisions. This carefully curated program of 24 construction topics covering domestic construction, commercial construction and typical detailing, will step you through the most basic stuff you’re simply expected to know- something like a 2-year course crammed into 12 nights! To learn to detail you must first know the products you’re detailing with, how those materials behave and how a contractor puts a building together. This course will provide that starting point.
