Cultural

The Fulton Trotter Architects philosophy of regarding every client and project as unique is perhaps best demonstrated in cultural and community buildings. This is one project type where the only consistent theme or methodology is that there is none. Every project is distinctly different by its very nature. And capturing that unique spirit is the key to designing a successful cultural and community building.

Fulton Trotter Architects has designed and delivered successful cultural and community buildings since 1960. Libraries, aquatic centres, community centres, parks and gardens, galleries, museums, heritage centres, interpretation centres, visitor information centres and amenities blocks in Metropolitan and regional areas throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Our cultural and community buildings not only respond to the brief, budget and functional requirements, but also seek to convey a theme, tell a story, reflect the locality, give ownership to the local community, engage the public, and embody the spirit of the project and place.
