Why I do what I do

I love making things.

When I decided to be an architect …

After considering bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, the decision in high school had to be architecture.

If I wasn’t an architect, I’d be …

Flying kites during the week and selling books in a hardware store on weekends.

What else I do …

Enjoying family time, making sawdust in the shed, travelling, skiing.

I did that!?

Won the NSW Northern Rivers Rubik’s Cube competition in 1981, then went on to design and make a more complex cube out of wood.

My gangs
